Each week We Design Handbags tells the story of a
different handbag designer. There is no set requirement for who will be
profiled each week. The designer chosen can be a prolific, famous designer of
high-end bags or a lesser known designer who makes only a few handcrafted bags
per season. Either way, the reader is introduced to new and interesting facts
regarding their design aesthetic, the materials used, how they broke into the
business, and how they continue to be successful in such a competitive market.
Each weekly article asks the designers what tools they work with, how they
